Seasonal Staffing
Seasonal staffing adds temporary workers to cover a predictable, recurring peak in demand — such as the holiday retail rush, a harvest, tax season, or summer tourism.
Because the peaks are predictable, seasonal staffing is usually planned in advance: employers forecast the headcount they'll need and partner with an agency to recruit and onboard workers before demand arrives. The workers are typically agency-payrolled for the season and released when the peak subsides.
Some seasonal programs double as a talent pipeline — strong seasonal workers are invited back year after year, or converted to permanent roles when openings arise.
